Ravioli a la Vodka

The creme de la creme of Italian cuisine. Simple, fresh, yet filling, and involves alcohol … what more can you ask from a dish? Everyone has their own take on it but I personally believe people make it much more complicated than it needs to be. Here is the abridged version

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of olive oil (yes I know thats a shit ton)
  • 1/2 a shallot (pretty much an onion on steroids)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons vodka (plus more if you wanna be trashed by the time you eat, up to you)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • red pepper flakes (go crazy if you live on the wild side)
  • pasta of choice
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • parmesan
  • fresh basil

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil while keeping a burn kit at standby. I kid you not hot olive oil is the scariest thing in the cooking world.
  2. add the red pepper flakes to spice up the dish
